Abstract

Information dissemination has been through the ages to this modern era. This paper examined Information dissemination during the prophetic era, which is the era when God spoke to His people through the Prophets and Priests, by dreams, visions, audible voice, and face to face communication. It also examined information dissemination in the library before the twenty-first century, and the present era. Some Prophets were selected in no particular order to examine the information disseminated by God through them, and how they stood in the gap between God and His people to disseminate information. The similarities were established, and the identified limitations in comparison to the contemporary era of library information dissemination were that the modern technologies used in libraries in this era have enhanced the information dissemination in many libraries in the present era.  It concluded that the Almighty God started information dissemination, and information dissemination in the library in this era is not limited by space.
