Volumes 13, 2021 & Volume 14, 2022 (and rolling submissions)
Manuscripts are invited that align with the mission of BJSS (see below). All articles submitted are anonymously peer reviewed by at least two referees. Manuscripts should be typed double-spaced and be between 6,000 and 8,000 words in length, including all references. An abstract must accompany every article and should be no more than 150 words. The manuscript must also be accompanied by a separate document containing the title of the article, author’s name and institutional affiliation, mailing address, email address, telephone numbers and a short biographic note (max. 35 words). The prescribed style is that contained in the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA).
Only electronic submissions are acceptable, and these should be in formats compatible with MS Word 2007 or later. Both full manuscript and cover document (containing the author details) should be submitted as attachments in the same e-mail message, and the file name of both documents should be the title of the article. Kindly note that the manuscript should neither contain the name of the author, named properties attached to the computer file, nor any details in the body of the manuscript that may identify the author. All manuscripts should be sent to: Editor-in-Chief, BJSS, Prof. Olajumoke Yacob-Haliso, at BJSS@babcock.edu.ng, and the Managing Editors, Dr Michael Ogu at ogum@babcock.edu.ng or Dr Foluke Akoja, akojaf@babcock.edu.ng.
Babcock University ethical guidelines require that manuscripts be void of any language that might imply racial, ethnic, gender, religious or other kinds of discrimination, stereotype, or bias. Accepted manuscripts are subject to editorial modifications before publication, while articles that do not conform to the above guidelines will be returned to the author without review. Submission of articles implies a commitment to publish in BJSS, therefore articles submitted for consideration by BJSS must not have been published in part or in whole in any other medium and must not be under review by any other journal or publisher.
