Abstract
This article which is based on documentary analysis, examines Africa's relations with the western-dominated world retrospectively and prospectively. It notes and establishes that contrary to the continued pontification of global interdependency of all regions of the world by the neo-smithians, contemporary Africa, as it has been since its incorporation into the western-dominated world economic system in the 15th century, is still dependent and marginalized in all fronts. It submits that as long as these structures persist, for decades to come, Africa might continue to be the Liliputian of the world.
