Firm specific Attributes and Enviromental Sustainability Development Practices of Deposit Money Banks in Nigeria

Abstract

The study examined the effect of firm specific attributes on environmental sustainability development practices of Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) in Nigeria. The study adopted ex- post facto research design. The population consist of the twelve deposit money banks listed in Nigeria as at 31st December 2021. Data extracted from published annual reports of the deposit money banks for a period of ten years from 2012 to 2021 were analysed using descriptive and inferential (multiple regression) statistics ay 5%significant level. The study revealed that firm specific attributes had significant effect on environmental sustainability development indicators. The study recommended that management of DMBs should maintain all the firm specific attributes in order to improve their sustainability practices.
